1. Who is responsible

Sovereign Eight Analytics, a proprietorship based in Kolkata, India, operates the Service and is responsible for your information. Contact: angshuman.biswas1@outlook.com.

2. What we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, provided through Google sign-in or email registration, and a unique account ID. If you register with a password, it is handled by Google’s authentication service and is not visible to us.
• Contract text you submit: the text you paste or upload, plus the options you choose (contract type, your role, focus notes).
• Saved analyses (only if Zero Retention is off): the contract type, risk score, balance rating, summary, results, the first 120 characters of your contract text as a preview, and the date.
• Settings: your Zero Retention preference.
• Technical and usage data: request counts used to enforce usage limits, and server logs that record your account ID, the type of request and the size of the AI request and response. We do not write your contract text to our logs.

3. How we use it

• To provide the Service: authenticate you, generate analyses, counter-proposals and emails, and show your history.
• To keep the Service secure and fair: prevent abuse and enforce usage limits.
• To communicate with you about the Service or respond to your messages.

We do not use your contracts for advertising and do not sell or rent your personal information.

4. Zero Retention mode

When Zero Retention is on, we do not save your analysis to your history. Your contract text is still sent, in real time, to our AI provider to generate the result, and it passes through our server for that purpose. Our server logs do not contain the contract text. Zero Retention does not control what third-party providers do under their own terms (see section 5), and anything you copy out of the Service is under your control.

5. Who else handles your information

• Google (Firebase / Google Cloud): sign-in, our database, our server functions and hosting. Data is stored in the United States.
• Anthropic: the AI provider that processes the contract text and options you submit to produce results. Anthropic handles that data under its own commercial terms and privacy practices.
• Google Fonts: our pages may load fonts from Google, which can receive your IP address when you load the page.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not share your information with advertisers.

6. Where it is processed

We operate from India and use infrastructure located in the United States. By using the Service you understand that your information is processed in those countries.

7. Cookies and similar storage

We use browser storage that is necessary for sign-in sessions (set by Google’s authentication service). We do not use advertising cookies.

8. How long we keep it

• Saved analyses stay until you delete them. Use Settings → Delete all history, or delete individual items in History.
• Your account details stay while your account exists. Email us to delete your account and associated data; we will do so within a reasonable time, except where we must keep information for legal or security reasons.
• Usage counters and security logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the Service.

9. Your choices and rights

You can access your saved analyses in History, delete them, turn Zero Retention on or off, and ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live (for example, California or other US states with privacy laws), you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email us from the address on your account.

10. Security

We use access controls so that each account can read only its own saved data, keep our AI provider credentials on the server and not in your browser, and encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid submitting information you are not comfortable sharing with a service provider, and consider redacting names or sensitive identifiers before you analyze a contract.

11. Children

The Service is for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version, and we will give notice of material changes in the Service.
